Deborah Harper has been successful in the recruiting industry since 1987. After achieving senior certification and national recognition with an established international recruiting organization, she established Harper Hewes, Inc. in 1993. She is one of fewer than 100 professionals in the US to have earned designation as a Certified Employee Retention Specialist (CERS). Ms. Harper participates in multiple formal and informal recruiting organizations. She has been a featured presenter at the Top Echelon national convention, and has served on an advisory panel for US-Recruiters.com. She is active in community and professional associations, having served as Vice President and board member for the Rochester Women’s Network, on the board and in leadership positions for the Association for Women in Computing for many years and as founding trustee and past chair of the Rush-Henrietta Education Foundation. In 2003 she was awarded the AWC’s National President’s Award. Ms. Harper is a graduate of Purdue University. Her professional career includes sales, sales management, project management and operations. She is listed in “Who’s Who in American Women.”



David M. Miller
Vice President

Prior to joining Harper Hewes, Mr. Miller was Vice President, Operations for Talavara, LLC, a leading provider of automated benefits administration and enrollment software. He was responsible for operations including software implementations and human resources. He brings over 20 years experience in operations and sales with such leading firms as Bolt, Beranek & Newman, Inc. (BBN), Sprint Inc.and Litton Business Systems Inc. He has extensive experience in marketing hardware, data networks, communications products and software solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Miller also operated his own executive search firm. He has been active in coaching Little League baseball, CYO basketball as well as refereeing high school basketball.



Deb Zakrzewski
Vice President

Deb Zakrzewski has over 20 years of experience as both a leader and an individual contributor in business development, supply chain, technology and engineering environments. She has been recruiting for professionals within the engineering, manufacturing, operations, IT and supply chain areas since 1999. Prior to recruitment, Deb was the International Sourcing Manager at West Publishing, a division of the Thomson Corporation, overseeing outsourced services across Thomson divisions globally. Deb also spent 10 years at Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation in engineering, project management, IT and rate analysis roles. She holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University and earned a Master of Information Technologies Designation through the Association for Information and Image Management, The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Association.
